Located on Commerce Street this collection of impressive derricks stands watch over downtown Kilgore as a reminder of its oil past and present. This patch of land was once covered with producing oil derricks, designating this patch of land the World's Richest Acre.

This historic movie theatre is a beautiful example of the Art Deco architecture that fills downtown. Currently the building is unoccupied and owned by the City of Kilgore. The neon is on every night for you to enjoy, you dont want to miss it!

The railroad runs straight through downtown. Our train depot has be renovated to perfection. It is open every Tuesday as a consignment shop.
